Emergencies at the bike park
You're out and about enjoying the sunshine and sweet trails but someone crashes and clearly needs medical attention! What do you do?
1. Apply basic first aid - Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing, Circulation (DR ABC)
2. Call 000 if unresponsive or unable to move
3. Use the EmergencyPlus or what3words app to determine your exact location
4. Call the ForestrySA Duty Ranger on 8391 8800. Rangers will open gates and assist first responders, and may get there first to assist with first aid.
Who's going to respond? Depending on availability it may be the SA Country Fire Service, South Australian Ambulance Service or South Australian State Emergency Service.
