Rebuilding Fox Creek Bike Park. Help us to Build Back Better!

Join us on the journey to rebuild Fox Creek Bike Park

Fox Creek Bike Park has partially re-opened from 11th April 2021.

The section of forest commonly known as Fox Creek was severely affected by the December 2019 bushfires and is now surrounded by burnt pine plantation and native forest. Due to the potential of falling trees and branches, the area is unsafe for public visitation. Some sections of the Heysen and Mawson Trails, which pass through this area of forest, are also closed until further notice. Temporarily the Mawson Trail has been re-routed onto Croft Road and is open for users.

ForestrySA is working to identify and re-establish trails as early as possible. ForestrySA acknowledges temporary closure of the Fox Creek Bike Park trails and mountain bike precinct is causing significant impact on visitor access. For your own safety, do not enter fire-affected forest areas.
