KNOW YOUR LOCATION
Knowing your exact location is critical in the event of an accident or medical emergency on the trails. Download the EmergencyPlus or what3words app to get your exact location and the help you need. In the event of a medical emergency at Fox:
1. Apply basic first aid - Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing, Circulation (DR ABC)
2. Call 000 if unresponsive or unable to move
3. Use the EmergencyPlus or what3words app to determine your exact location
4. Call the ForestrySA Duty Ranger on 8391 8800
Who's going to respond? Depending on availability it may be the SA Country Fire Service, South Australian Ambulance Service or South Australian State Emergency Service.
